Misson
Fluglefluff Productions began with the idea that learning is an essential part of life, for everyone and at every age. Discovery is more than an early childhood concept; it is one of the fundamental joys in life. For over 30 years, Fluglefluff Productions founders Tim & Colleen Thomas helped students and co-workers learn by building on what they already knew. We believe individuals can meet challenges and develop new skills when they are allowed to respond creatively and play with ideas.
About the Book
No Monster Here takes readers into the imaginative world of brothers, Jacob and Joey, as they search for a monster. The debut work of writer/educator, Colleen Thomas, and illustrator, Alyssa Thomas explores creative discovery through child’s play. No Monster Here honors traditional monster stories and is an entertaining adventure for children, parents and teachers.
Colleen Thomas, M. Ed. – Writer & Educator
Colleen holds a Masters in Education, and is a life-long educator and storyteller. As co-director and founder of Children’s Choice, a private elementary school and early childhood educational center, she developed age appropriate curriculum and enrichment programs for over twenty years. She believes well crafted stories are an enjoyable learning experience for readers of all ages and that play is integral to every stage of life. Colleen is co-founder of Fluglefluff Productions.
Alyssa Thomas – Illustrator & Designer
Alyssa designs handmade, quirky, plush toys and embroidery patterns for her company Penguin & Fish. She is passionate about creating things for children and is constantly making some sort of new toy or art project. Alyssa blogs about art & design at penguinandfish.blogspot.com She is also the co-founder of Studio Collective where she designs and illustrates stationery products.
